We're on the hunt for a curious, collaborative, tech‐savvy Asset Data Analyst who can turn raw information into gold and help drive confident, evidence‐based decision‐making across our asset portfolio.
About The Role
You will be part of the Spatial and Asset Information team and responsible for continuous improvement of Council's asset condition and performance monitoring through asset data visualisation and detailed analysis of infrastructure asset data. Your main focus will be on the comprehensive analyses of asset datasets as well as:
* Comprehensive analysis of asset data including spatial and financial datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy
* Audits and validation processes on asset condition assessment and inspection datasets, to identify valuable insights on performance trends and patterns
* Collaborate and partner with asset data owners, custodians and key stakeholders to ensure asset data management activities adhere to the relevant policies, standards, and procedures
* Utilise advanced capabilities in GIS, relational databases and data querying, Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Power BI and Dashboards, and other contemporary software applications to dynamically report and present results from asset data and information analysis, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, computer science, information technology or similar discipline, or equivalent extensive experience
* Natural problem‐solving abilities with a love for detail
* Confidence working with data and digital tools
* The ability to translate technical information into meaningful stories
* Good communication skills, a collaborator who enjoys working across teams
* Drive to improve systems, processes, and outcomes
