Our client, a well-respected industry leader, with large capacity, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Casualty Underwriter who is it technically minded and enjoys broker relationship management.
You will be responsible for underwriting a highly profitable and diverse portfolio of large and complex liability risks, mentoring less experienced staff, and building strong broker relationships across Australia with both large suburban and international brokers, actively involved in driving production by focussing on profit and offering quality service to all key stakeholders.
To be successfulin securing this brilliant role, you willhave a minimum of 5 years public / products liability underwriting experience (liability broking and claims experience may be considered), a proven track record for developing strong market relationships and be technically competent with large liability risks.
Ideally, you will be pro-active, commercial, hands on, strong business acumen, thorough with details, enjoy business development and have a strong client service ethic and communication skills.
This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.
