Accounts Receivable Officer page is loaded## Accounts Receivable Officerlocations: Chermsidetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR101709**Your Role as Accounts Receivable Officer**The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of WMQ's accounts receivable function, in line with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. The role also provides general administrative and operational support across the broader finance department.You'll deliver this role by:* Full function accounts receivable for Wesley Mission Queensland including Residential Aged Care, Independent Living, Community care and Disability Services.* Undertake collection of debt tasks for all WMQ Services.* Reconcile Medicare payment Summaries and make any necessary adjustments.* Letters from the Department of Human Services with fee changes to be prioritised on receipt of letter.* Prepare, collate and issue debtor statements.* Ensure accounts receivable Journals are efficiently and accurately maintained and ready for processing.* Undertake daily banking tasks and apply payments.* Internal and external communication to be written clearly, succinctly and correctly, avoiding unnecessary use of jargon or complicated language and in a well-structured and logical way.**What We Offer*** **Attractive Remuneration plus packaging benefits** – Boost your take-home pay by up to $18,550 annually through not-for-profit tax concessions* **Work-life balance** – Enjoy flexible hours that work around your life, we promote a culture that values personal time and well-being* **Flexibility and Balance:** Life is full of demands, and we understand that everyone's situation is different.
