What You'll Be Doing
No two days will be the same Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
* Meeting with clients to discuss tax outcomes, planning, and strategies
* Assisting with financial statements and detailed workpapers
* Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS
* Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledgers
* Assisting with payroll and superannuation processing
* Responding to client queries and ATO correspondence
* Supporting our director with compliance and ad-hoc accounting work
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legislation

About You
You're motivated, organised, and ready to build your career:
* Degree or qualification in Accounting
* 1–5 years' experience in accounting or public practice
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Confident written communication and clear, professional verbal skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
* Strong Excel skills and Xero experience is essential
