At Prok, we produce high-quality conveyor rollers, idlers, and structures that support industries worldwide. Our Smeaton Grange facility is a key component in our global operations.
We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to create models and manufacturing drawings for conveyor rolls and associated structures. This role may also involve design or documentation projects to support the Engineering team.
The successful candidate will prepare 3D & 2D models, produce 2D drawings, generate bills of materials, and assist with concept designs. They will provide expertise on process improvements, customer specifications, and design issues.
* Review customer specifications and clarify deliverables with Engineers and Sales staff.
* Improve existing drawings, templates, and processes.
* Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and ensure important information is passed on.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Campbelltown NSW.
About You
Applicants must be dedicated Draftspersons seeking long-term careers in drafting. Ideally, they have experience in Manufacturing or Mining environments and are motivated to learn.
* Skilled Professionals: Trade Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Design, or similar.
* Subject Matter Experts: Experienced in Manufacturing and/or Mining environments.
* Systems Gurus: Proficient in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and 2D detailing.
