Key Responsibilities:

* Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards, consistently meeting or exceeding the highest culinary expectations.
* Kitchen Management: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in our dynamic environment.
* Supervising kitchen staff and assisting in training junior team members to maintain operational efficiency, promoting teamwork and innovation.
* Quality Control: Monitor the taste, texture, and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the highest culinary standards, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
* Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation, ensuring we have the right ingredients at the right time.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to guarantee seamless service and timely delivery of orders, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Creativity: Contribute to menu development and special offerings, bringing fresh ideas to the table and enhancing our culinary offerings.
* Safety and Hygiene: Uphold strict food safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring a safe and clean kitchen environment for everyone.

About You

Certified culinary professional with at least 2 years of full-time experience OR

At least 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen in lieu of formal qualifications

Strong understanding of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating memorable dishes.

Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

A positive attitude and approach to your work.
