**The Role**
- Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure
- Work closely with GM IT Delivery in both a support capacity, and in the implementation of projects
- Identify and troubleshoot system problems in order to improve performance and reliability
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the IT department and business by making recommendations for system enhancements
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Degree or Certificate IV in IT with commercial experience as a Systems Administrator, Automotive Repair Industry exposure highly desirable
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and demonstrated ability working with network equipment
- Strong proficiency with Windows desktop and server platforms, including Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server (Group Policy, DNS, DFS, DHCP)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune
- Experience with Windows desktop deployment
- Experience with virtualised systems, particularly VMWare systems
- Experience with Linux systems
- Proven critical thinking and experience troubleshooting across a range of systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
