About the role
This is a full-time position, generally 45 to 54 hours per week, negotiable for the right candidate. You will work as the sole pharmacist, supported by two pharmacy technicians, using Z Dispense software.
As Pharmacist Manager, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations and maintaining a high standard of professional service across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing dispensary operations, stock control, and compliance with all professional and regulatory requirements.
Building strong relationships with customers, local doctors, and allied health professionals within our health hub.
Leading and mentoring staff to support efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Delivering high-quality pharmacy services, including dispensing, vaccinations, medicinal cannabis, and aged care services.
Driving business performance and contributing to growth through strong leadership and achievement of key performance indicators.
Working closely with the owner on business development, with a genuine pathway to partnership available within 12 months, or within a time frame that suits the right candidate.

What we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist, not provisional.
A Bachelor of Pharmacy or higher.
Strong community pharmacy experience, including confidence in managing day-to-day dispensary operations.
Proven leadership ability and the confidence to lead a small team.
A warm, personable, and professional communication style.
The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and make sound clinical and operational decisions.
Vaccination qualification.
Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to maintain these.
Experience or knowledge in medicinal cannabis dispensing is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
