**Job Title:** Corporate Accountant
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, with a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in financial processes and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the accounts payable function, including vendor communications and reconciliation of payments to the ERP system.
* Reconcile monthly trade services agreement invoices and settlements.
* Liaise with overseas finance teams and external parties to resolve payment queries and transfers.
* Assist with monthly Australian/New Zealand payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
* Execute month-end tasks, including preparation of leave journals, lease adjustments, suspense allocations, and prepayments.
* Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including posting depreciation.
* Monthly reconciliation of Airwallex and bank statements.
* Prepare and maintain Australian entities balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist with corporate tax obligations, including PAYG reconciliation and lodgment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Preferred OneStream and D365 system knowledge or exposure.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business environment.
* Problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Able to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.
* Good multitasking skills and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Able to build working relationships with other areas of the business and enjoy working in a team.
