About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on, customer-focused
Deskside Engineer/IT Support Technician
to join our fast-paced team. You'll be the go-to expert for hardware troubleshooting, device refreshes, and AV support-whether it's through our ticketing system or face-to-face at our TechBar.
This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on solving problems, managing stock, and delivering exceptional service with a smile.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide real-time support via ticketing system or TechBar walk-up centre
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues on the spot
* Manage and audit stockroom inventory
* Perform device refreshes and on-site installations
* Deliver clear installation overviews and site-specific guidance to customers
* Handle customer issues with professionalism and escalate when needed
* Assist with equipment deliveries and storage
* Support AV troubleshooting and resolution
* Maintain accurate paperwork and work assignments
What You'll Bring
* 2-4 years of experience in IT support or hardware maintenance
* Advanced troubleshooting
* PC software and operating systems (Windows 10, Mac, Linux, Android)
* Networking interfaces
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask under pressure
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* A customer-first mindset with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Teams
* A collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
