**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Our client **BOC Gas and Gear**, based in **Canning Vale, WA**, a leading global gases and engineering company that supply gases and equipment to many sectors including heavy industry and medical environments are looking for a Mechanical Fitter apprentice to join the team.
As an apprentice, you will be working in the workshop and at customer sites, installing gas pipes, servicing BOC owned and customer owned gas equipment, conducting customer gas cylinder dismantling, inspecting and rebuilding. Overall, you will gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of BOC, ranging from pipeline construction to the utilisation of gas-owned equipment by end users. There is quite of bit of local travel as well as the occasional stay away for the night for work further away, so a vehicle licence is essential.
Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship **will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and you will earn your **Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30219).**

You will be someone who takes pride in their work and have a strong desire to become fully qualified in this field. Applicants who have completed a pre-apprenticeship will be highly regarded.
