The role
* Independently operating food processing machinery
* Ensuring product quality through high attention to detail and quality testing
* Troubleshooting and problem solving
* Assisting other operators to ensure the team completes all production schedules on time
* General and periodical plant and equipment cleaning
* Completing paperwork accurately, neatly and consistently throughout every shift
* General food processing and packaging.
This client conducts 24-hour operations, so you must be willing to perform shift work on a weekly rotation.
Week 1: 7:50 am - 4:00 pm
Week 2: 3:50 pm - 12:00 pm
Week 3: 11:50 pm - 8:00 am
What you need
Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a food manufacturing environment is highly regarded but not essential. You will need to be safety focused, physically fit and able to complete manual tasks.
* A great attitude and genuine desire to produce high quality results
* Excellent work ethic and a desire to get things done
* A desire to learn
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
* A willingness to undertake rotating shift work
* Able to lift 20kg frequently
