Perth Symphony Orchestra is seeking a highly organised Coordinator to support the delivery, logistics and coordination of our community, education and regional programs.
This is a 1-year fixed-term, part-time role (2–3 days per week) that is perfect for someone who enjoys juggling logistics, building relationships and contributing to meaningful cultural experiences.
Working closely with our Community Engagement Manager, you'll play a key role behind the scenes—helping ensure our programs run smoothly, respectfully and with impact.
About the role
You'll provide essential administrative, logistical and stakeholder support across PSO's community engagement activities.
From coordinating schedules and travel to liaising with schools, councils and community partners, no two days will be the same.
What you'll be doing
Supporting the planning and delivery of PSO's community, education and regional programs
Preparing schedules, run sheets, briefing packs and program materials
Coordinating logistics including travel, accommodation, venues and equipment
Communicating with schools, community groups, councils and arts organisations
Supporting respectful engagement with First Nations organisations and artists
Assisting with grant documentation, feedback collection and reporting
Working with the marketing team to share engagement outcomes and stories
Providing occasional support at PSO events and performances
About you
You're highly organised, proactive and great with people.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, manage competing priorities with ease, and care deeply about community, culture and connection.
You'll bring:
Experience in arts administration, community programs, education or events
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning and coordination abilities
Confidence working with diverse stakeholders
A passion for Western Australia's cultural landscape
A flexible, positive attitude aligned with PSO's values
A relevant qualification (Arts Management, Education, Community Development or similar) is desirable but not essential.
