About the opportunityWe're looking for a Manager, Engagement to lead key stakeholder programs and provide expert advice across the Department for Energy and Mining (DEM). You'll guide the delivery of our Aboriginal Engagement Strategy and support engagement across industry, community, and government.
This role suits a confident leader with a deep knowledge of stakeholder engagement and social licence best practice who can plan and drive inclusive consultation, improve transparency, and enhance DEM's reputation. You'll offer high-level advice across community, industry, and government, while managing systems that support smooth, effective events. Experience in developing and delivering strategic engagement programs and demonstrating strong leadership in relation to service excellence, client-focused outcomes and stakeholder engagement.Extensive and in-depth knowledge of all relevant aspects of stakeholder engagement including best practices to develop and maintain strong social licence to operate.Proven ability to provide high-level strategic advice and information to a wide range of people, industries and groups.Ability to implement and maintain event management systems and processes, including event registration, attendee management, and post-event evaluation.Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Project Management, or another discipline that specialises in stakeholder engagement or equivalent relevant experience.
Remuneration:ASO8 salary range $121,107 - $125,679 per annum + superannuation.
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
Special Conditions:This position is classified as a designated position and as such, appointment to this role may be subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance screening check.
