We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Associate Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) / Power Platform Functional Consultant to support the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including emerging AI-enabled capabilities such as Copilot and agents.
This role is ideal for a consultant early in their Dynamics 365 career who is building strong functional foundations, developing consulting skills, and gaining hands-on experience across Sales, Customer Service, Power Platform, and AI-assisted CRM scenarios.
The Associate Consultant works under the guidance of senior consultants and solution architects, contributing to delivery outcomes while progressively increasing autonomy and responsibility. This is your first step in a consulting career at NTT DATA.
Primary Duties
Client engagement and functional consulting
* Support client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business processes and requirements
* Assist in documenting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
* Participate in client demos, showcases, and playback sessions to build confidence in client-facing communication
* Support user adoption activities through documentation, guides, and training support
Solution design and delivery
* Configure Dynamics 365 CE components (e.g. entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows) under supervision
* Assist with Power Platform components such as Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and basic Power BI artefacts
* Support the configuration and validation of Copilot-enabled features within Dynamics 365 CE modules
* Gain hands-on exposure to agent-based scenarios (e.g. Customer Service Copilot, knowledge suggestions, summarization)
* Support solution architects and senior consultants in ensuring functional designs are implemented as intended
Testing and delivery support
* Assist with test case creation, execution, and defect logging
* Support user acceptance testing
* Help ensure functional solutions meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update configuration records
Capability building and knowledge contribution
* Actively build foundational knowledge of:
* Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service
* Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
* Copilot concepts, responsible AI principles, and agent fundamentals
* Participate in internal knowledge sharing, training sessions, and certifications
* Apply learning from Microsoft documentation, release waves, and supervised delivery experience
Presales and practice support
* Support presales activities such as demo preparation, documentation, and research
* Assist in preparing solution descriptions and functional inputs for proposals
* Contribute to internal assets, templates, and reusable delivery artefacts
Experience And Skills
Required experience
* Exposure to Dynamics 365 CE and/or Power Platform through project work, internships, or graduate roles
* Understanding of basic CRM concepts (customers, cases, leads, opportunities, workflows)
* Foundational understanding of Power Platform capabilities
* Awareness of Copilot and AI concepts within Dynamics 365 CE
* Strong written communication skills and willingness to engage with clients
* Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a delivery team
Desired Experience
* Hands-on exposure to Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service configuration
* Experience building simple Power Automate flows or Power Apps
* Exposure to Copilot features, AI-assisted CRM scenarios, or agent concepts
* Internship, graduate program, or early-career consulting experience
