Painter Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to deliver high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.
* Perform pre-painting activities including scraping, sandpapering, and repairing cracks and holes before conducting general finishing.
* Execute pre-emptive maintenance to ensure long-lasting colors and minimize future damages.
* Responsible for the maintenance of ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment, and report any issues with equipment to management.
* Apply paints using rollers, brushes, spray guns, and finishes drywall using standard or specialized tools.
* Clean all equipment, including brushes and spray guns after use.
* Execute tasks using scaffolding and ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Must be a US or Australian citizen.
* Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a painter with experience using a wide variety of indoor and outdoor paints.
* Must possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance or AUS PV Clearance.
* High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
* Attention to detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
* Decision-making ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
