Are you a hands‐on, creative, and organised hospitality professional who loves bringing events to life? We're looking for a Functions & Events Manager to take full ownership of our functions offering — from sales and planning to execution and delivery.
This is not a traditional people‐management role, but it's a high‐impact position where you'll be responsible for shaping our functions offering, building systems, and creating memorable experiences for every guest.
What You'll Do
* Proactively bring in functions and events (corporate, private, community, and special occasions)
* Manage all enquiries from first contact through to event delivery
* Develop and maintain systems for bookings, deposits, run sheets, and delivery
* Collaborate with our Chef, Venue Manager, Duty Managers, and Marketing team to create menus, packages, and flyers
* Build a functions plan to grow revenue and engagement
* Ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers a high‐quality guest experience
Who You Are
* Experienced in hospitality, events, or functions management
* Confident in sales and building relationships
* Organised and process‐driven, with a love for systems
* Creative, with ideas for events, packages, and promotions
* Able to collaborate across kitchen, floor, and marketing teams
* Proactive, motivated, and accountable for results
