The Opportunity

As a Home Care Team Leader at UPA, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our dedicated team of Care Workers to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. You will ensure clients remain safe, independent, and connected within their communities, all while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, based in our Dubbo office.

About the Role

Reporting to the Home Care Service Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, supervising, and supporting a team of Care Workers in the delivery of safe and consistent home care services. This includes workforce planning, team development, onboarding and mentoring new staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and care standards.

Your role will also involve:

* Providing day-to-day leadership and acting as a positive role model
* Supporting recruitment, retention, and training of team members
* Coordinating and monitoring staff rosters and leave to maintain service delivery
* Facilitating team meetings, staff development and on-the-job mentoring
* Ensuring practices align with UPA's policies, guidelines, and Code of Conduct
* Promoting a safe working environment through safety audits and risk assessments

What You Bring?

* Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising staff
* Understanding of current Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards
* Minimum Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent qualification
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and team-building skills
* Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Current unrestricted Driver Licence
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
