The Role

We are looking for a commercially driven, performance-obsessed Head of Marketing to own and scale total revenue across E-Commerce and Retail.

This is not a brand-only role. This is a revenue leadership role.

You will have full ownership of marketing budgets, ROI, and performance outcomes — accountable for the total revenue contribution across all channels. You will lead performance marketing, retail marketing, product launches, and conversion optimisation with a clear commercial lens.

You will operate as a key member of the leadership team, partnering directly with the founders to drive profitable growth.

What You Will Own

Revenue & Commercial Accountability

* Own total revenue contribution across E-Commerce and Retail
* Full ownership and management of the marketing budget
* Drive ROI, MER, contribution margin and channel profitability
* Allocate spend strategically across channels based on performance and return
* Forecast revenue in partnership with finance and operations
* Overall brand positioning and messaging
* Ensure consistent brand identity across channels and international markets
* Oversee influencer and creative strategy

Performance & E-Commerce Growth

You will lead all performance-driven digital channels with a focus on scalable, profitable growth.

Ownership includes:

* Performance Marketing (Meta, TikTok, Google, TikTok Shop)
* Affiliate marketing strategy, ROI and spend management
* EDM & SMS strategy and revenue growth
* Paid media budget allocation and efficiency
* Customer acquisition cost management
* LTV optimisation in partnership with retention

You will continuously optimise for contribution, not vanity metrics.

Product Launches (Commercial Focus)

* Own the commercial strategy behind product launches
* Drive launch revenue targets and conversion strategy
* Build performance-led launch plans across digital and retail
* Ensure launches deliver strong sell-through and margin outcomes

Retail Marketing

You will lead retail marketing strategy with a clear focus on sell-through, retail growth and range expansion.

Ownership includes:

* Retail launch calendars
* POS, in-store assets and tester strategies
* Retailer-specific campaigns (Ulta Beauty, Walmart, Chemist Warehouse, Coles, Sephora, etc.)
* Retailer EDMs and co-op marketing initiatives
* Supporting new doors and range expansions
* Driving retail sell-through and revenue growth

This role ensures retail marketing is commercially aligned and performance-driven — not just trade support.

Leadership

* Lead and develop the marketing team
* Build a high-performance, accountable culture
* Set clear KPIs tied to revenue and ROI
* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product and Finance
* Report directly to Founders and the Management Team

Who You Are

* 8+ years in performance-led marketing roles
* Proven experience owning significant marketing budgets
* Demonstrated success scaling DTC and/or omnichannel brands
* Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy
* Deep understanding of paid media, CRO, and retention levers
* Experience managing retail marketing in major accounts is highly desirable
* Data-driven, decisive and comfortable owning revenue targets
* Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
* Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
