TheOpportunity
Our Medical Records team is seeking enthusiastic Administration Compiling Support Officers to join our team on acasual basis. We are looking for candidates who are available to work Monday-Thursday, no night shifts We are also looking for people who are open to working Saturdays to assist with Ward Clerk duties.
Responsibilities
Patient record management
Provision of health information to internal and external clients
Filing of paperwork
Filing and culling of medical records
Day to day functionality of the HIS department
Participating in performance improvement activities
Qualifications
Authority to work in Australia
Proficient un use of email, web-based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
Ability to work within deadlines
Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business
Commitment to document security and patient privacy
Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (desirable)
Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (desirable)
Previous experience in Health Information Services (desirable)
