Total Food Network is a local fruit and vegetable wholesaler in Cairns, providing products to restaurants and cafes in Cairns and its surrounds.
Located at our Warehouse in Redden Street, Portsmith, we are seeking someone who works well in a team environment, is flexible, and has a 'can do' attitude.
Working a rotating roster up to 25 hrs. a week (approx 7am- 3pm), 3 days a week initially Monday, Thursday, Friday. This position does require some 5am starts Monday to Friday for leave cover at least 4 weeks of the year.
Applicants must have previous experience in an administrative role with the ability to accurately process data and produce documents to a strict schedule. A high level of internal communication with internal resources and departments and external communication with customers is required to ensure that customers' orders are efficiently and correctly processed and delivered. Experience in the use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook) is a must. Previous experience with FRESH software is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Receiving and processing customer orders
* Creating picking slips and invoices
* Assist with Food & Quality safety systems
* Provide other administration support as required
To be considered for this position, the applicant must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Previous experience in an administrative role
* A very high attention to detail and total reliability is essential
* Previous experience in Fruit and Vegetable distribution will be an advantage but is not a specific requirement
* Ability to work under pressure autonomously and as a team member
* Ability to accurately process data and produce documents to a strict schedule
* Ability to work well in a team
Training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
