Your Role
As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for filing, data entry, record keeping, and a range of general administrative tasks, while fostering a welcoming and respectful environment. You will engage with staff, residents, their families, and visitors, offering assistance and ensuring a positive experience. A friendly, patient, and adaptable attitude is essential, along with the ability to manage interruptions smoothly and maintain a professional, approachable demeanor at all times.
Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 8:00-16:00 – total 22.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors.
* Act as a point of contact for resident inquiries, referring them to the Manager/Supervisor as appropriate.
* Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, word processing, minute-taking, and photocopying.
* Input and maintain records to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Requirements
* Experience in the aged care sector is highly desirable.
* Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
* Effective time management skills and understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
* Excellent presentation.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
* Professional, confident, and clear communication skills.
* Dependable, punctual, and consistently reliable.
