JOB OVERVIEW

Ready to lead the way in driving viral success? We're seeking a hyper-creative and strategic social media expert to join our team and lead the local strategy in Australia & New Zealand for a global beverage brand. If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a knack for content creation and for turning ideas into viral moments, this is the role for you.

As a Local Social Media Content Producer, you'll be at the heart of our brand's social media presence, ensuring that content is not only high-quality and on-brand but also aligned with both global and local strategies. You'll lead a talented team of creators, guiding them to develop content to ensure everything produced is relevant, impactful, and resonates with key target audiences. You'll also create reactive assets for brand channels in line with our overarching strategy and brand objectives.

In this hands-on, integrated role, you'll oversee the end-to-end content creation process, analyse performance metrics, and continuously optimise campaigns to keep the brand ahead of trends. Your deep knowledge of local pop culture and influencer dynamics will be essential for building strong community connections and driving engagement.

WHAT DOES GREAT LOOK LIKE?

* Create and oversee brand channels on Instagram and TikTok for the brand for Australia and New Zealand
* This role requires availability for 3 days / 24 hours per week
* Serve as the main point of contact, maintaining clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and approvals efficiently.
* Run community management for ANZ Lipton brand channels. Engage and grow social communities, interacting with followers and driving conversations to build loyalty.
* Lead the end-to-end creative and production of weekly social creator content for the brand by developing the tone of voice and vision, in collaboration with the global creative team.
* Produce and edit 2 pieces of self-shot content per week for brand channels in line with the developed TOV and vision alongside the creators, featuring their likeness
* Casting of content creators to produce assets for brand channels based on the brand strategy and your local knowledge of relevant, skillful creators
* Manage and inspire a team of 5 creators based in both Australia and New Zealand, guiding them on trends, providing insights and brainstorming ideas aligned with cultural moments.
* Empower creators to push boundaries while making informed decisions to ensure content resonates with audiences and performs across social.
* Maintain brand relevance, ensuring content aligns with global positioning while driving local relevance.
* Oversee content quality, execution and delivery, ensuring all content is delivered on time, weekly.
* Stay deeply attuned to local pop culture, incorporating cultural trends into creative content strategies. React to trends within 24-48 hours of spotting the relevant opportunity.
* Engage and grow social communities, interacting with followers and driving conversations to build loyalty.
* Lead community strategies using social listening and trending topics to boost brand visibility and engagement.
* Analyse content performance and provide fortnightly reports, using insights to improve creative outcomes.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of trends and platform best practices to inform monthly content strategy and drive engagement. This will include META and TikTok as the primary platforms, but this may also expand to Reddit and X (Twitter).
* Knowledge of paid media strategy and liaise with external paid media agency
* Refine content production processes to improve efficiency.
* Ensure all content is approved by global/local brands and legal teams before going live.
* Must be based in Sydney and collaborate daily with the local brand team based there. Must also be available to be present at the office at least once a week.
* Local New Zealand knowledge also required for this role.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

* Strong Content Creation Skills: Ability to shoot, produce, create, edit and design video and still assets for local brand channels
* Client Services: Be the main point of contact on a day to day basis, managing key stakeholders and clearly communicating on a regular basis.
* Entrepreneurial Skills & A Success-Driven Mindset: The ability to take initiative, solve challenges creatively, and consistently drive results.
* Creative and Strategic Mindset: Ability to think creatively about content concepts while maintaining a strategic approach to achieve brand goals.
* Expertise in Influencer Marketing: Proven experience working with creators and influencers, including briefing and managing talent to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
* Trend Awareness: Strong knowledge of social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging content formats.
* Cultural Curiosity: Deep interest in Local pop culture and a keen understanding of how cultural trends intersect with social media and brand strategy.
* Data-Driven Decision-Making & Paid Media Strategy: Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable plans, with a solid understanding of paid media strategies to enhance content reach and impact.
* Organisational Excellence: Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, from internal teams to external creators.
* Proactive Problem-Solving: Resourceful and adaptable, with a hands‐on approach to resolving challenges.

Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential for this role.
