The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Port of Brisbane and employs approximately 140 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re‑loaded for our domestic and international customer' orders and readied for transport.

About the Role
The JBS Cold Store Facility (Hemmant) is currently recruiting experienced High Reach Forklift Drivers to join the team. Reporting to the Cold Stores Supervisor, this opportunity is ideal for anyone wanting to progress their career within a global organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.
Shift Times
* Day Shift - 6am to 2pm
* Afternoon Shift - 2pm to 10pm
* Night Shift - 10pm to 6am
Key Responsibilities
* Safe and efficient operation of a forklift
* Positively contributing to a zero-harm safety culture
* Ensuring product integrity is maintained
* Checking and verification of paperwork
* Order picking
* Loading and unloading containers
* Transferring product
About You
* Must have Australian working rights
* Must hold a current Australian Forklift License (LF)
* Must have High Reach Forklift experience (ideally 3+ years)
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
* Confident working in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable and punctual
* Strong attention to detail
* Sound numerical skills
* Physically fit (some manual labour is required)
* Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
* Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
* Flexibility with hours including availability to work overtime as required
