About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated Farm Hand to join the team located in Harden, NSW.
This position is a fulltime role Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday every 4 - 6 weeks, with the opportunity for overtime. We are looking for someone who is reliable and has previous experience operating farm machinery and who enjoys working outdoors. Someone who is confident with the upkeep of farm equipment and infrastructure as well as bring focussed on maintaining our high standards of duck welfare.
Daily duties include:
* Monitoring the ducks
* Managing feed and water
* Carry out maintenance and upkeep of farm equipment and infrastructure
* Litter management
* Operating farm machinery
* Cleaning sheds and equipment
* Maintaining the property and facilities
Skills & Experience:
* Experience operating farm machinery with confidence
* Maintenance-minded with a hands-on approach to solving minor repairs or issues
* Poultry experience preferred, but not essential
* Confidence to work independently as well as part of a team
* Have good attention to detail
* Physically fit and energetic
* Willingness to learn
