Due to continued growth in the Oceania region, Lely Australia is seeking a Technical Service Support Specialist to join our Cluster Oceania team. This is a key role supporting our Lely Centres across Australia in delivering top-tier service, support and training in the installation, maintenance and performance of Lely products.
You will play a critical part in elevating the standards of technical service across the network, while also contributing to improved customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role also offers potential for growth into leadership positions within the Lely Australia organisation, for the right candidate who demonstrates initiative, commitment, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
•Travel regularly to Lely Centres across the country to deliver training, coaching, and in-field technical support to
Service Managers and technicians.
•Provide second-line technical support via a rotating on-call roster.
•Ensure Lely Centre technicians are appropriately trained and certified according to Lely standards.
•Influence and motivate technicians in Lely Centres to optimise the service proposition.
•Monitor technical KPIs and service performance across the Lely Centre network.
•Act as the link between the field and Lely HQ, providing feedback and insights on product performance and technical
challenges.
About You
•3-5 years of relevant technical experience, ideally in robotic milking systems or similar high-tech agricultural equipment.
•Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
•Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
•High level of attention to detail, with a proactive and professional approach.
•Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
•Passion for training and coaching others to a high standard.
•Valid Australian driver's license and work rights.
•Willingness to travel nationally; international travel may occasionally be required.
