Guest Service Representative
This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences from reservation to departure. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing personalized service and creating lasting impressions on our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guest Check-In: Confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys to ensure seamless check-ins.
* Payment Processing: Process various payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
* Guest Communication: Respond to guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Room Readiness: Coordinate with housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
* Parking Procedures: Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
* Directional Information: Provide guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
* Reporting and Analysis: Run daily reports, identify special requests, and verify report accuracy.
Qualifications:
* Current study in hospitality-related field is an asset.
* Previous experience in front office operations is beneficial.
* Strong background in customer service is preferred.
* Availability for shift work on a rotating roster is required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional guest experiences is crucial.
