About the Role
Step into an engaging teaching position where hands-on learning meets purpose.
You will lead passionate adult learners keen on health, fitness and flexible career pathways. Classes run online on Tuesday evenings and on campus from Thursday afternoons through to the evening, where you and your students will work within our public-facing student remedial massage clinic featuring individual curtained bays and industry-standard facilities.
You’ll shape confident, job-ready practitioners across sports, therapeutic, relaxation and remedial massage techniques while bringing your professional experience into every session. This role offers a vibrant mix of teaching, mentoring and practical clinical education, supported by a Program Lead and a close-knit team of massage specialists.
Some key responsibilities for this role include:
* Deliver high-quality training across remedial massage content using blended delivery.
* Facilitate 200 hours of supervised student clinical practice in our public clinic.
* Develop student capability in communication, confidence and client interaction.
* Work collaboratively with a broader health-focused teaching team spanning physio, exercise physiology, nursing and individual support.
* Support learners with diverse needs through available learning and disability support systems.
* Maintain strong industry practice to ensure teaching aligns with current standards.

About You
You are energised by teaching, skilled in massage therapy and passionate about guiding students to discover confidence in clinical and communication skills. You bring warmth, adaptability and an ability to read the room to make learning meaningful.
Additionally, you will have:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or near on completion)
* A Diploma in Remedial Massage or higher, or a qualification in Myotherapy to enable you to deliver the program
* Current industry currency and First Aid
* Competent digital skills for online delivery and assessments
* Membership with a recognised association such as AMT or MMA (flexible)

Salary Range:
Casual Teacher L1 | $90.07 (teaching) and $61.22 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $93.61 (teaching) and $63.62 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $97.31 (teaching) and $66.10 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
