Offer description

An industry-leading workplace rehabilitation provider is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Berrimah, Northern Territory. This full-time position offers a unique hybrid work model, allowing the successful candidate to balance professional excellence with personal flexibility. Located at 631 Stuart Hwy, the role serves as a gateway to a diverse clinical landscape that extends far beyond traditional case management. The successful applicant will operate within a private healthcare framework, providing essential services across workplace rehabilitation, aged care, and community-based sectors. The chosen clinician will manage a varied caseload, focusing on injury prevention and return-to-health outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments, performing ergonomic evaluations, and facilitating Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) home assessments. This role distinguishes itself through its involvement in cutting-edge recovery programs that utilize virtual reality and contemporary pain science. The consultant will collaborate closely with employers, medical professionals, and insurers across various schemes, including workers' compensation, CTP, and Comcare, supported by rehabilitation assistants to minimize administrative burdens. The organization prides itself on a culture that prioritizes staff wellbeing, offering a workplace equipped with dedicated recharge spaces, walking pads, and regular team wellness activities such as sound bath meditation and breathwork. Financial and professional rewards are substantial, featuring a competitive remuneration package complemented by innovative incentive and bonus schemes. Employees also benefit from a "promote from within" philosophy, comprehensive onboarding, and access to a national fitness passport program. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy and maintain full professional registration with AHPRA. While the organization welcomes applications from new graduates, all candidates must possess a current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, excellent time management skills, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, client-centered care within a supportive and inclusive environment. Applications are currently being accepted for an immediate start in May 2026.
