We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Darwin. As a Field Service Technician at TMHA, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
This role involves carrying out maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs and modifications at the Customer's site and in accordance with the Customer's requirements and within the Company's guidelines and procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
2. Maintain a professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
3. Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and automated systems.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance services to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
5. Respond to service calls efficiently, providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
6. Maintain accurate service records and reports.
7. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that exceed expectations.
8. Collaborate with the wider service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
9. Stay updated on the latest technology and service procedures within the industry.
10. Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:
1. Current Driver's licence.
2. Relevant trade qualification.
3. Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
4. Proven experience in servicing and maintaining material handling equipment or similar machinery.
5. Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
