Domremy College is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher of HSIE, Economics and Business Studies. This is a full time, temporary position for 2026 with the possibility of becoming permanent.
As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition. In line with the College's Learning Framework, it is expected that the successful applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring young women to love learning, excel in their subject area and promote personal excellence.
This full time, temporary role is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 27 January 2026. We welcome applications from recent graduates.
About You
As a Teacher of HSIE, Economics & Business Studies, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach HSIE, Economics and Business Studies
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
