Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with families to identify and address safety concerns and develop strategies to promote positive outcomes.
* Provide emotional support and guidance to families in crisis, helping them to build resilience and achieve their goals.
* Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for families and coordinate services to meet their needs.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, built on trust, empathy, and understanding.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of children.
* Participate in court processes, including preparing court documents and attending court hearings as required.
Requirements
* A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience working with vulnerable children and families, preferably in a child protection or social work setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and professionals.
* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
* A paid working with children clearance number.
