An exciting opportunity awaits personal care workers to join the team.
As a personal care worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, companionship, transportation, and promote independence for our older persons.
Personal care workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive, and compassionate care that supports trusted and long-term relationships with our clients.
About you
To be successful, you must:
* Have previous experience working in aged care or personal care (desirable)
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
* Follow policies and procedures at all times
* Work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
Role requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Health Care, Services Assistant, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
* A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's license
* A roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured car
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
* Current nationally recognized First Aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' certificate
* Current immunization history statement
