The Student Support Officer will provide strong administrative support to the VET team, maintaining accurate student records, auditing files, and coordinating meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the VET team with daily administrative tasks
">
* Maintain accurate student records as per ASQA compliance
">
* Audit student files at course completion and cancellation, ensuring accuracy
">
* Assist students with enrolments, progress, and certification queries
">
* Manage data in registers and ensure the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Learning Management Systems (LMS) systems and program information is accurate and up to date
">
* Coordinate meetings and prepare reports and documentation
">
* Collaborate with staff and external stakeholders to support VET operations
">
* Follow all university policies and compliance standards
">

Qualifications and Skills
">
To be successful in this role, you will require:
">
">
* A relevant Degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training
">
* Demonstrated administrative capability with previous experience within the Vocational Education and Training sector, particularly a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
">
* Demonstrated prior experience in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) work environment with knowledge and understanding of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) training packaging requirements and experience with government funded programs
">
* Proficient in the application of MS Office program suite and an ability to work across different computer systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS's) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM's) systems
">
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact with all students, staff and with external stakeholders
">
* Strong operational administration skills, able to remain composed and effectively prioritise tasks with competing deadlines
">
* Excellent at organising tasks and managing time efficiently, with a strong attention to detail
">
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of initiative, flexibility, and proactive solution development
