Assistant Principal – Bowral Public School (0000BA0K)
Location: Bowral. FTE 1.0.
Remuneration: Base salary $149,059 plus leave loading and superannuation, total package $168,946.
Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach infants and/or primary with proven ability to use data authentically and strategically to enhance student learning outcomes.
* Strong commitment to NSW public education priorities and evidence of leadership that effectively implements school initiatives with measurable whole‐school improvement.
* Capacity to foster a genuine sense of belonging and partnership across the school community, building trust and shared aspirations among students, staff, families, and the broader community.
* Experience in building the professional capacity of staff and school teams through instructional leadership aligned with whole‐school planning and priorities.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
