Profectus is seeking .NET Developers across junior, mid, and senior levels to support a major Australian Government agency in delivering its FY Digital Identity Program of Work. This is an opportunity to contribute to nationally significant digital infrastructure, working within multidisciplinary agile teams alongside APS staff and other vendor partners. The agency operates a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery model, and all personnel will be expected to work collaboratively in blended teams to deliver against Program Increment commitments.
Key RequirementsDesign, develop, and maintain robust backend web services using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF) within a complex, multi-layered architectureFrontend development using Angular and other modern JavaScript frameworksApply enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference models to ensure alignment with business and technical strategiesDeliver solutions demonstrating ownership of end-to-end delivery from design through to deployment and monitoring in productionPromote and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure code quality, maintainability, and early defect detectionDesign, implement, and maintain automated test suites across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end levelsPractical programming experience in .NET (C#), SQL, XML, and package management tools (e.g. NuGet, npm)Implement and manage continuous automated testing integration using Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, TFS, and MSTestParticipate actively in all Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives
Desirable ExperienceExperience with Xamarin (C#) for mobile developmentExperience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, SpecFlow, Protractor/Karma, and CucumberExperience mentoring others in development and testing practices
