Table Games/Casino Operations Vice President

The Table Games/Casino Operations Vice President is a high-level executive responsible for overseeing the daily planning, direction, and operations of the casino. The successful candidate will work closely with senior executives to ensure the smooth operation of the Table Games, Poker, and Sports Book Departments.

Main Responsibilities:

* Direct the overall operations and staff of the Table Games/Sports Book/Poker department(s).
* Develop, implement, and manage operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
* Ensure effective scheduling while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction.
* Prepare, monitor, and adhere to budgets and ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives.
* Provide direction to Table Games/Sports Book/Poker leadership and oversee all game protection and overall operations.
* Stay up-to-date on new technology, equipment, and games under development, and evaluate their potential benefits for implementation.
* Continuously review and evaluate casino floor layouts and test, refine, and improve floor performance.
* Regularly shop local competitors and stay updated on their floor layouts and product offerings to ensure competitiveness.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop cost-effective promotions that generate additional gaming revenue.
* Work with IT and marketing to maximize the potential of our accounting and player tracking systems.
* Maintain master summary evaluation programs to track and summarize gaming performance.
* Facilitate best practices to ensure top ideas and procedures are shared across properties.
* Assist in interviewing, hiring, and managing Gaming Department Management in conjunction with the property President.
* Work with the property President to set goals and objectives for the management team.
* Stay updated on gaming regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Review departmental policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and alignment with property objectives.
* Oversight of gaming guest service training programs to elevate service to a position of excellence.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
* Collaborate with the property President to develop, implement, and measure the department's strategic plan and objectives.
* Ensure department activities reflect the organization's policies and procedures and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of ten years casino experience including five years at department head level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Possess strong analytical skills specific to job responsibilities.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to independently maintain high levels of productivity.
* Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
* Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and problem-solving skills required.
* Able to resolve stressful situations and work independently.
* Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure, handle situations in a timely manner, and perform multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Demands:

* Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
* Able to stand for an entire shift and continuously maneuver throughout the Casino areas.
* Able to respond to visual and aural cues.
* Able to lift 30 pounds and bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis.

* The Tribal Council gives preference in all its employment practices to Native Americans.
* First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
* Second preference is given to other members of federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
