Facility Asset Maintenance Professional
We are seeking a proactive Facility Asset Maintenance Professional to support the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program at our Torbanlea Manufacturing Facility. This role is crucial in developing and implementing maintenance strategies aligned with our Technical Maintenance Plan, ensuring facility assets operate efficiently, reliably and safely.
This position plays a vital role in contributing to the success of our manufacturing program by ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and functioning optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop preventative maintenance strategies that align with our TMP and ensure maximum asset availability.
* Coordinate maintenance plans for effective inter-departmental communication and minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with production, engineering and external service providers to manage asset risk while supporting operations.
* Lead Zero Harm initiatives and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
* Manage contractors and maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with site procedures and permits.
* Provide technical support and continuously improve maintenance processes.
Requirements:
* A strong background in asset maintenance across infrastructure, rail, facilities or a relevant industry.
* Proven leadership in managing teams, projects, and maintenance operations.
* Proficient in computerised maintenance management systems (Maximo highly regarded) and Microsoft Office suite.
* Solid understanding of safety regulations, permits, and safe work documentation (JSEA, SWMS).
* Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to drive process improvements and deliver cost efficiencies.
