What’s on offer
- 8/6 days | 7/7 nights roster
- Accommodation and meals provided whilst on shift
- DIDO from Mount Isa or Cloncurry
- FIFO available from Townsville or Cairns only for the right candidate
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate
- Open Manual Drivers Licence required
- At least 12 months experience in underground drilling – Sandvik solo rig and/or Epiroc Simba
- Proven track record of experience & knowledge
- QSEC Card desirable
- Ability to pass a Low Risk medical and Functional assessment
- Ability to work independently & within a team
- Safety Focused
Job Information
- Perform up hole, downhole and other types of production drilling
- Follow design specifications with care and accuracy
- Understand and follow mine plans
- Setting up and troubleshooting long hole drill rigs to ensure smooth and safe operations
- Complete thorough pre-start checks
- Ensuring all equipment is safe to operate
- Liaising with the supervisor and other crew members
