Council is seeking a Team Leader to provide skilled support to Supervisors and operational teams responsible for the delivery of construction and maintenance activities. This role is responsible for leading and managing allocated teams to maximise performance and ensure works are delivered effectively and efficiently. The Team Leader will read and interpret plans and instructions, provide daily progress reports, and assist senior officers in the development and implementation of work programmes. The successful applicant will demonstrate sound working knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques and guidelines, proven leadership capability with the ability to motivate teams and drive high performance, and well-developed literacy, numeracy, and computer skills, along with the ability to effectively establish and manage work priorities.
MANDATORY
* Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver's licence
* General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
* Minimum requirement of a Certificate III in Civil Construction
DESIRABLE
* Certificate IV Civil Construction (or willing to obtain)
* MR Truck Licence and Plant Tickets
