Compensation and Benefits
* Dual working locations in Heidelberg, with rotational shifts
* $70,100 base salary + generous salary packaging + super (pro rata for part time) + monthly ADO + 5 weeks annual leave

About the Radiology Department
Our administration team is one of the largest in the hospital and handles close to 500 scans per day. We provide administrative support, including patient reception and bookings, electronic and manual file management, typing, data entry, results distribution and billing services to the Austin Health Radiology division.
About the Role
As the Clerical Team leader, you will work collaboratively with the Administration Manager to ensure the effective management of the administration functions. This position is based across two Austin Health sites, the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and the Austin Hospital, and a variety of shifts are worked on a rotational basis.
Responsibilities
* Assist with administrative tasks and the organisation and management of admin staff, including rostering requirements, planning for leave and arranging job rotation.
* Perform daily reception functions to ensure that patients are booked, arrived and attended to promptly, efficiently and courteously.
* Update clerical work practice standards, associated documentation, workflows and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & About You
You will be a dynamic, vibrant and patient‐focused team member, who enjoys showing a caring attitude towards both your team and the community we serve. You will have excellent communication skills and strong general administrative skills, having gained relevant experience by working previously in a hospital or busy medical practice.
* Previous leadership experience in a similar role.
