Who You Are
You're a skilled and detail-oriented Painter with extensive experience in surface preparation, application techniques, and finishing. With expertise in using a variety of tools, materials, and coatings, you excel at delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.
What You'll Do
In the role of Painter, your duties will include:
* Perform pre-painting activities including scraping, sandpaper, and repair of cracks and holes before conducting general finishing
* Execute pre-emptive maintenance to ensure long-lasting colors and minimize future damages
* Responsible for the maintenance of ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment, and report any issues with equipment to management
* Responsible for the application of paints using rollers, brushes, spray guns, and finishes drywall using standard or specialized tool
* Responsible for cleaning all equipment, including brushes and spray guns after use
* Execute tasks using scaffolding and ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.
* Other duties as required.
Requirements:
* Must be a US or Australian citizen
* Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a painter with experience using a wide variety of indoor and outdoor paints.
* Must Possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance or AUS PV Clearance
* High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
* Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
* Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
