We are urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to start as soon as possible in a 2-3 week temporary full-time assignment with a progressive market leader in manufacturing, repair and maintenance of transport refrigeration.

**This role will be responsible for a range of accounts payable duties, together with associated administration tasks including**:
- Monitor and assist with reviewing, coding and processing of invoices and credit notes
- Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries
- Research and resolve discrepancies and issues
- Prepare, submit and monitor reimbursement claims
- Manage and reconcile staff credit card statements
- Process, pay and monitor employee expense claims
- Disperse, reconcile and process petty cash
- Prepare payments for approval and process approved payments
- Reconcile and monitor E-Toll, GoVia, fuel cards and vendor accounts
- Maintain motor vehicle register information for currency
- Assist with maintaining Asset Register
- Assist with EOM processing close off and reporting as required
- Recordkeeping
- Spreadsheeting and backup functions for accounts receivable.
**To be considered for this temporary opportunity, you will need to demonstrate**:
- Previous experience in full function accounts payable
- Confidence using financial systems (Navision preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook,
- Fast and accurate keyboarding skills
- Strong time management with a proven ability to organise workload to meet deadlines
- Availability to commence with short notice.
