Conduct Independent Research in Environmental Analytical Chemistry
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow or Research Fellow to join our world-class research team at Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS). This is an exciting opportunity to conduct independent research under the support and guidance of more senior academic staff within the field of environmental analytical chemistry.
Our research team focuses on developing sensitive methods with excellent quality control, interpreting high-resolution mass spectrometry data, conducting MS/MS experiments, and quantifying or semi-quantifying analytes in complex samples. We also have opportunities to contribute to research project design and funding applications, and gain leadership experience supervising students engaged in these activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry or a related field
* Excellent knowledge of mass spectrometry techniques and instrumentation
* Proven track record of publishing research papers in top-tier journals
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position offers a competitive salary package, including base salary ranging from $82,057 - $136,048 (Academic Level A or B), plus 17% Superannuation.
