As a BDM, you’ll be responsible to proactively promote and sell our tiered range of Pierlite lighting products to key Electrical Contractors, partners, and identified end users across a defined QLD Metro and Regional Territory

What you’ll do
1. Develop, secure and convert profitable sales opportunities for Pierlite from a defined range of strategic electrical contractors and end users within the QLD metro region and any defined regional territory.
2. Liaise, and support the QLD Sales Team with required sales and project opportunities.
3. Proactively identify new opportunities and develop meaningful relationships with identified contractors.
4. Liaise regularly with our internal QLD Customer Support team, ensuring national alignment to localised marketing and sales activity, sharing outcomes of areas of success.
5. Own, and be accountable for a professional sales budget generated through Project sales within the identified territory.
6. Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues, to ensure a consistent Pierlite approach to the market.
7. Capture all data within the CRM framework, ensuring information is relevant, and up to date.
8. Work to initiatives generated through the Pierlite Sales Xcellence Program, including call rate, CRM, promotions, contractor conversions, and competitor activity.
9. Be fully involved with all activities relating to the launch of new products, including planning, learning, related company initiatives, and relevant client presence.
10. Be available to travel state-wide to assist in the launch of new Pierlite products, company initiatives, or assist in securing project opportunities.
Your qualifications
11. 5+ years’ proven successful selling experience to the QLD contractor market.
12. Understanding the benefits of a technical sale, as opposed to a price-driven sale.
13. Strong communication, presentation and listening skills.

15. An understanding of the electrical design and construct space.
16. An understanding of the trigger points for electrical contractors.
17. CRM experience and application, plus proficiency with Microsoft office, and related software.
18. Ability to work collaboratively within a strong team culture.
