Safety and Environment
- Exhibit proactive interest in SHECQ&S related initiatives, including performing SOR & PORs.
- Take ownership of understanding and applying all relevant Vopak Standards.
- Support site personal and process safety audits.
- Ensure external contractors meet safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Comply with environmental regulations.
- Strive to identify and implement sustainability improvements.
Maintenance Management
- Maintain, repair, and inspect infrastructure as needed.
- Conduct inspections of tanks, pipelines, hazardous areas, and pressure vessels; establish long-term schedules and records.
- Review inspection results to assess equipment suitability for service.
- Keep records up-to-date; prioritize and address faults.
- Manage lifecycle of hoses and pumps; delegate maintenance tasks.
- Maintain spare parts stock based on criticality and policy.
- Update asset registers and SWIs.
- Generate monthly KPI reports.
- Plan and schedule maintenance in coordination with the Terminal Management Team.
- Coordinate activities per Vopak’s Maintenance Management Framework.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Terminal Maintenance Plan & Budget
- Develop and manage annual maintenance Opex & Capex budgets.
- Update maintenance plans based on reviews, audits, and standards.
Quality Assurance
- Coordinate quality systems and certifications.
- Establish and negotiate quality standards and procedures.
- Investigate and set quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with Vopak standards and applicable standards/legislation.
- Drive performance and quality improvements.
- Sign off on Management of Change (MOC).
Procurement
- Source and order parts, equipment, tools, and services for maintenance and projects.
Training
- Act as SME for operational training in maintenance; prepare and deliver training.
Projects
- Coordinate procurement for engineering and terminal projects.
- Provide project engineering support.
- Oversee design reviews and safety studies.
- Ensure projects adhere to standards, codes, and best practices.
- Maximize safety, reliability, and economic returns.
- Provide project status updates.
- Manage risks and communicate threats.
- Assist in CAPEX planning.
- Liaise with senior management.
- Support commissioning and project execution.
- Complete scope of work and assist in operational projects.
- Prepare handover documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Achieve KPIs related to maintenance, safety, and compliance.
- Experience in petroleum and chemical industries.
- 7+ years in maintenance management.
- Procurement and tendering experience preferred.
- Capable of technical assessments, hydraulic calculations, and process design.
- Multi-disciplinary project management experience.
- Experience with fuel tank farms.
- CAD and scheduling software skills preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and planning skills.
- Exposure to safety standards.
Education
- Graduate Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 years as Project Management Lead.
