About the Role
You will lead the preparation and execution of our Roman pizza by the slice program, with a strong emphasis on long-ferment dough and authentic technique. Beyond daily production, you'll be responsible for creating and documenting standard recipes and training our team to deliver consistently excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage long-ferment Roman pizza dough
* Oversee production, baking, and service of Roman pizza by the slice to suit our business
* Create, document, and refine recipes and preparation standards
* Train team members in dough handling, toppings, and execution
* Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe kitchen environment
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo, ideally with Roman-style pizza
* Strong knowledge of fermentation and dough science
* Passion for quality, detail, and consistency
* Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
* Organised and reliable, with strong communication skills
