Education Role
The classroom educator plays a significant role in assisting the institution to improve student performance and educational outcomes.
* Develop, implement, and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
* Monitor and assess student learning, utilizing data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student growth and achievement.
* Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader institutional community.
* Participate in activities such as parent/teacher meetings, staff gatherings, camps, and excursions.
* Undertake other duties as determined by the Educational Director, within the scope of the salary range, qualifications, training, and experience of the educator.
The primary focus of the range 1 classroom educator is on further developing skills and competencies to become an effective classroom practitioner. They teach a range of students/classes and are accountable for the effective delivery of their programs.
Range 2 classroom educators are expected to have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students. They will model exemplary classroom practice, mentor/coach other educators, and provide expert advice on instructional strategies.
