There is the opportunity for a full-time radiation therapist to join our Cancer Care Riverina team, located in Wagga Wagga. You will be part of a rapidly growing and developing service, working in a collaborative team environment.
All staff are rotated through simulation, planning and treatment ensuring skills development and professional progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy across simulation/planning and treatment delivery.
* Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience across the work area.
* Support a high-performance culture that delivers excellence in patient care services and team development.
* Be part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
Capability & Qualifications
* Proven technical skills in radiation therapy treatment delivery with demonstrated experience in planning in a range of radiotherapy techniques.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate you are collaborative, trustworthy and confident in building strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated understanding of the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services including awareness of ACHS national quality standards.
* Strong patient focus where the patient is at the centre of every decision.
* Highly enthusiastic, motivated, and quick to adapt in a supportive environment.
* Current AHPRA radiation therapist registration.
* Current NSW Radiation Use Licence.
