We are seeking a highly skilled Master Mariner or Ship's Officer to join our team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will provide support to our marine team by undertaking Draft Surveyor duties for vessels loading iron ore at bulk berths.
1. Undertake the Draft Survey role ensuring the vessel's compliance with all Marine Safety Regulations.
2. Assume the Agency Boarding Officer's role, coordinating safe operational requirements.
3. Maintain close liaison with vessels' Masters and other personnel during loading operations.
To be considered, you should possess as a minimum:
* A valid Master Mariner, Chief Mate certification or equivalent qualifications in marine surveying.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A strong ability to work collaboratively within teams and communicate effectively.
* Sound time management skills and attention to detail.
